For Perth families
Online tutoring, without the compromises people expect
The usual objection to online tutoring is that it is a lesser version of sitting in a room. For one-to-one Biology, the trade actually runs the other way.
What you gain
- No travel. An hour of tutoring costs an hour, not two hours and a round trip across Perth in peak traffic.
- A tutor you could not otherwise book. Distance stops mattering, which is how a practising doctor ends up teaching a Year 11 student in Perth on a Tuesday afternoon.
- Every session recorded. Students can rewatch an explanation the week before an exam. That is not possible in a room.
- Shared screen and annotation. Diagrams, past papers and marking keys are marked up live and kept.
How we handle the timezone
Dr. Singh teaches from India, but every time on this site is shown in Perth time (AWST). The time you book is the time your child sits down. Weekly classes run Monday to Thursday after school; free trials run Friday afternoon and Saturday early afternoon. Those hours are held open specifically for Perth families.
What you need
A laptop or tablet with a camera, a reasonable internet connection, and somewhere quiet. Classes run on Google Meet, Zoom or Teams — you click one button from your account and you are in. There is nothing to install and no account to create with the video provider.
Ready when you are
Two free trial places open each week. No card, no obligation.
